5.1 Add a Program Introduction

Members who are already receiving benefits can apply for additional benefits by adding a program. Since they are already enrolled, they only need to review the information on file and make any necessary updates.  

If the member wants to add Katie Beckett Medicaid, they must start a new application.

The process for adding a program is the same as the instructions for Apply for Benefits, see Chapter 4 Apply for Benefits. Select Apply for benefits quick link on the account homepage and then select Add benefits. The Choose your programs page displays. The member selects the programs they would like to add and select Next. After the member chooses the program they want to add, the Application overview page displays. The member must review their information in all sections and make corrections as needed. The member may be asked to answer new questions or complete additional sections based on the program selected. Select Start to begin the application for the new program.

Review the summary for that section, select Update if changes need to be made or if there are new questions. After making all updates select, Confirm and next.

Continue the application through Finish and submit.
