Most members enrolled in a health, nutrition, or child care programs must complete a renewal at least once every 12 months (depending on the program and other eligibility requirements). A renewal ensures a member still meets all program rules and is receiving the correct benefits. Members receive a letter when their renewal is due. If a renewal is not completed, benefits end.
FoodShare, Child Care, W-2, and most health care program renewals can be completed through ACCESS. Renewals for Caretaker Supplement; SeniorCare; or long-term care programs, such as Community Waivers, Institutional Medicaid, and Family Care, cannot be completed in ACCESS.
