To start a renewal, log into the primary person 's or the primary person's spouse's ACCESS account (see Section 1.3 Log in to ACCESS Account). (Only the accounts of the primary person or the primary person's spouse can be used to complete the renewal.)
The My Renewals/Six Month Report Forms section on the right side of the Account Home page displays information about upcoming renewals.
An Alerts section displays at the top of the Account Home menu starting the day after a renewal letter is sent to a member. Click a program name to begin the online renewal. Alternatively, click Renew My Benefits under My Benefits on the Account Home menu.
The Benefits Renewal Overview page displays. Check the boxes for the benefits being renewed. Depending on the program and if a renewal is due, a box may already be checked. If the renewal is currently due, the box cannot be unchecked.
In some cases, benefits can be renewed early. If a member is choosing to do an early health care renewal, the following message displays:
Note: | The premium information only displays for BadgerCare Plus members age 19 to 64 with no dependent children under age 19 living in their home who have an outstanding premium balance. |
An early FoodShare renewal may only be completed if a renewal is being completed for either health care or child care. If a person is choosing to do an early FoodShare renewal, the following message displays:
Click Next to continue the renewal or Go to Account Home to return to the Account Home page.
